First time in. Was concerned about bar atmosphere for family dinner but all is fine. Good and friendly service, price point fair, food fresh and good. Live band nice but a little loud for dinner time. Wil go again!

Came here hoping for good authentic Mexican, had decent Google reviews. Guess we should have read the Yelp reviews. Ambiance was fun, food was less than satisfactory. Ordered the fajita combo, chicken and steak. The fixins were something straight out of the generic aisle of Walmart, and the steak didn't make it past the first bite. Can definitely say we were disappointed. They did give a discount due to the bad steak. There are better places for authentic Mexican at reasonable prices!

Awful. I never had a margarita in a water glass until here. Food is bland and generic. Local Bar Dive atmosphere. BEWARE. THEY DON'T HONOR COUPONS. I was told this before we went and we had one to use. They came up with an excuse just like we were told.

The fajitas were bland, no seasoning. The chips were out of a bag. No hot sauce. This is the worst Mexican in the Cape.

This is certainly a bar more than a restaurant. As a bar it would score better but I am scoring it as a restaurant since that is what we went for. Service was very good and the food tasted OK so those are the good points. The not so good was that it is expensive for what a person gets. For example the cheese dip is clearly Velvetta and is $7 for a small bowl. The chips are from a bag and not made fresh. The two burrito meal ordered was tasty but the burritos were basically a wrap, chicken and shredded cheese. They were really small and $11. The $14 carne asada is under-seasoned flank steak. Our bill after tip came close to $50 without alcoholic beverages. Don't mind shelling out that kind of money but I expect exceptional food not average. The atmosphere feels like a sports bar mated with a dive bar. The atmosphere going in is kind of dive bar like but a bit nicer. Inside is clean but dark with a lot of TVs and a pool table. They have not finished the outside bar area when we went but that area looks to have promise. You can certainly do worse in Cape Coral since Cape Coral lacks decent TexMex joints but all-in-all we will not be back.

My husband and I love this restaurant. Great food, reasonably priced, lots of food, great atmosphere, service is excellent every time we've been there.

Excellent food. Had the carne asada and it was terrific. Drinks were super as well. Only complaint was they didn't have any hot salsa only mild to go with the totrtilla chips. We did get the green salsa which was really good. Musical entertainment went with it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
